Wondering how to get involved, how to contribute some of your talents to the Havurah?

You don't need to be a religious expert -- there are all kinds of opportunities. Here are just a few:

  • Help plan a holiday celebration Purim, Sukkot, Simhat Torah, Chanukah we like to celebrate them all

  • Contribute your time and talents to the Beit Sefer (school)

  • Coordinate or do childcare during an event (the kids are amazing!)

  • Setup or cleanup for a service or other event this is fun because there are always great people chipping in

  • Coordinate a social or cultural event (we've had wine tasting evenings and college football parties, and recently a member organized a group tour of Zingerman's Bakehouse!)

  • Help out a Havurah member in need of assistance: this could mean bringing a meal, providing a ride, etc. We like to function as a big family

  • Write or edit an article for the Grapevine newsletter

  • Bring a Challah to a Friday night service

  • Lead part of a service — training is provided and lots of support given

  • Support Havurah families in life cycle events

  • Coordinate an educational event or Shabbaton

It's easy to get involved, meet folks, grow, learn, and feel good about making a contribution.

While you're thinking about it -- right now -- how about clicking here to contact the appropriate person and offer to help?
