Welcome to the Ann Arbor Reconstructionist Havurah! |
T
he AARH is an open and welcoming lay-led community of 60 families, affiliated with the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation. We invite all to participate in our active schedule of religious services, educational and cultural events.
Join us for Shabbat services on the fourth Friday of each month at the Jewish Community Center, 2935 Birch Hollow Drive in Ann Arbor. Services begin at 6:15 PM, followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner.
Fourth Friday services feature lots of singing with instruments. Children are welcome in the service, but childcare is also provided in a separate space.
Our religious school (Beit Sefer) meets on Sundays for children K-7th grade. Enrollment is open to both members and non-members.
We celebrate all major holidays, b'nai mitzvot, and community-wide events. Check the calendar for our schedule of social action projects, discussion groups, social and educational programs. All are welcome.
