Have you wondered what it takes to lead specific prayers? Find out what is involved, by attending a lay-leader’s training meeting at Aura’s home in this spring. We’ll begin by looking at the Shema and its blessings (there are at least five prayers associated with the Shema), and find out how to lead all or parts of it, either at Friday night or Saturday morning services. These meetings will also cover the meanings and origins of these prayers. They will also enable students to explore different ways of leading each, including English options.

There are two meetings scheduled for this spring. They will take place Sunday, February 20 or March 13, from 2-4 p.m. at Aura’s house.
